Depression: Emerging from the Darkness

Depression. Many have written on this topic. I write about it as an expression of care for those who have walked the long dark halls of depression. As a mental health nurse and campus minister, I have had the privilege of coming alongside those who are deeply hurting. I appreciate the ones who agreed to write part of their story as an introduction to each lesson. Although simple in its presentation, I hope and pray this study will offer the reader hope and encouragement for their journey on planet earth.

What customers are saying:

"The biblical and practical wisdom that is contained in this short teaching guide is helpful both for imparting truth and offering applicable principles that are translatable to daily life. The study begins by raising the question, "Why are you anxious?", and then examines Jesus' teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. Then, it turns to addressing causes of anxiety, such as fear, conflict, sleeplessness, stress, and fatigue. I recommend this study, as I found it both insightful and of sound progression. I intend to use it in teaching others.
